Emergency Responder
Fire Departments use Firewise assessment data to identify and communicate areas of high wildfire risk. This information can aid fire strategy and tactics, prepositioning equipment, and situational awareness when responding to fires.

Fire Departments may choose to expand Firewise assessment data and perform outreach to property owners as part of community fire safety efforts.
Emergency Managers, Law Enforcement, and other
emergency service providers benefit from Firewise community risk assessments.
These organizations and leaders not only receive geospatial data about fire risk in their communities, but gain access to Fire Prevention Specialists who can help develop action plans. Grants may be available for fire mitigation activities.
