Community leaders can contact their local Firewise Prevention Specialist to receive Firewise information and access to risk assessment data that local students have recorded.

Community leaders may build on student's Level 1 Risk Assessment data by organizing more detailed Level 2 on-site risk assessments. Local fire departments and other emergency services personnel commonly contribute to this effort.

 

Firewise Prevention Specialists can help communities develop fire mitigation action plans and apply for grants to fund mitigation activities.
